ORCHESTRA ENRICHES LIVES AND LEARNING

Granada Community Charter would like to introduce you to our Instrumental Music/Orchestra Class, instructed by educator, Ms. Virginia Atherton. We hold this class in high esteem. Our students in grades 3-5 are introduced to the various instruments and music theory at this early age.  Students get a first hand opportunity to learn and practice instrumental music and learn to read music. Granada Elementary is one of the few elementary schools to offer this special orchestra program. We hope this introduction will be a gateway for our students to a world enriched, not only by the brilliance of math and science, but by the beauty of producing and experiencing music and all the arts.
